Del Webb Naples in Ave Maria is one of the largest and most desirable 55+ communities in Southwest Florida, and it’s an attractive option for homebuyers looking for a place to begin their Florida retirement. One of its best amenities is the 15,000-square-foot clubhouse called the Oasis Club.

Ground has just broken on a clubhouse expansion. In addition to the Oasis Club, residents at Del Webb Naples will soon have access to the Grand Hall and the extra 14,000 square feet that come with it.

According to Richard McCormick, president of PulteGroup’s Southwest Florida Division, the second clubhouse will provide space for amenities and social gatherings. It’s a direct response to the needs of an active adult population buying new and resale homes within the community. Once complete, it’ll be the largest amenity space in the area.

Del Webb Naples Grand Hall: A Preview

The Grand Hall is projected to open in early 2020. It’ll include a large social hall and a catering kitchen that will easily facilitate entertaining and food preparation during community events and social gatherings. A veranda with sweeping views of the well-landscaped grounds will also be constructed, so residents will be able to gather and socialize outdoors. There will also be additional rooms for cards and games, making it easier to host club meetings and activities.

Social calendars are always full at Del Webb Naples, making this extra space absolutely essential to the function and comfort of the community. Game nights and movie nights are frequent. Homeowners also enjoy getting together for book discussions, card clubs, and dinner shows. Regular performances take place as well as impromptu get-togethers. There are clubs for arts and crafts and pottery as well as travel and cooking. The space will be well-used and appreciated by current and future homebuyers.

At Del Webb Naples, there’s a full-time lifestyle director, and at the Grand Hall, residents can expect to enjoy wine tastings and art classes. With the construction of this new space, the calendar of events and activities will grow longer and more diverse.

Expanding the Del Webb Naples Oasis Club

It’s hard to imagine adding more space and additional activity options to a clubhouse that’s already full of interesting things to enjoy. At the Oasis Club, residents of Del Webb Naples can get some exercise in the modern fitness center, which includes weightlifting and cardio equipment. There’s also a movement studio for aerobics and yoga. A steam room, sauna, and locker room create a functional and pleasant space in which to relax after a workout.

The Oasis Club has a gathering room and an activities room, as well as an arts and crafts studio. There’s a library and a continuing education center as well as a cafe and a restaurant called The Rusty Putter Bar and Grille. There’s a three-lane lap pool for fitness-minded swimmers as well as a relaxing resort-style pool that comes with a spacious patio and a soothing spa. Residents enjoy tennis, bocce ball, and pickleball courts.

Panther Run Golf Club is its own amenity center, especially for active adults who want to find Naples homes for sale on a golf course. It’s an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Gordon Lewis, well-known for his architectural vision when it comes to scenic golf courses appropriate for all levels of play. There are practice facilities including a driving range and a putting green, as well as a pro shop.
